The Therml Impac Building System uses the Therml ImpacĀ® Panel

A specially designed, lightweight high tensile steel wire cage with a core of expanded polystyrene.

A coat of Portland cement concrete is then either shotcreted or manually applied to both sides of the panel.

This creates a final product with superior load bearing qualities. The panel wall is structurally stronger and yet lighter than any conventional brick wall or hollow clay-block wall of equivalent size.

Versatile Applications

The Therml Impac Panel Building System can be used for:

  1. Walls
  2. Floors
  3. Ceilings
  4. Roof
  5. Staircases
  6. Industrial, Residential and even Commercial-Type Buildings

Superior to Other Systems

  • Complete architectural freedom and flexibility

  • Stellar appearance – no evidence of prefabrication

  • Variety of finishes – can be combined with any other material for a range of finishes

  • Thermally insulated

  • 50 percent lighter than conventional construction – a 4’x8′ panel weighs just 27 lbs.

  • Termite, fungus and dry rot resistant

  • Fire resistant

  • Excellent structural and soundproofing capabilities

Go Green!

TIAHCO Advocates Building “Green”

When you build green, you use your resources efficiently to construct buildings that improve human health, are good for the environment and provide long-term cost savings.

Advantages of building green with TIAHCO:

  • A green building saves you money through lower operating costs over the life of the building, especially cooling and heating costs
  • TIAHCO’s structurally insulated, panelized building system creates an extremely well insulated and air tight building envelope. Having an efficient building envelope is a critical component in building green.
  • The degree of building tightness possible with structurally insulated panels, gives better control over the quality of your internal environment.
  • The expanded polystyrene (EPS) in the panel core uses no ozone depleting CFCs or HCFCs in the manufacturing process.
  • Our building process uses NO environmentally damaging operations like overcutting of trees or mining for raw materials which are necessary for brick and block making
  • Construction waste is significantly reduced due to minimal cutting required on-site
  • In the first year of installation, the average panel home saves you 19 times the energy it takes to make its EPS insulation.
  • Any excess EPS waste created during the manufacturing process is recycled to make other EPS products
